Can you give a little information about your background as an esthetician?
I began in esthetics three years ago and started my career at The Skin & Body Spa in Nashua, NH! There I learned so much about what it took to be a great esthetician and learned how to nurture and grow a clientele. Now I’m a medi- cal aesthetician with a focus on laser and regenerative skin therapies at Tox Josh Studios in Nashville, TN where we work to not only create huge results in the skin but also foster a healthy inner dialogue where inner work and inner beauty is just as much as the forefront.
What inspired you to become an esthetician?
I always loved making people feel as beautiful as we all deserve to and rais- ing self-confidence in others. That was my initial calling. But I was further called to it through my interest and passion for bridging beauty with science. I love the idea of creating tangible science-based change and results through therapy and home care for the betterment of my client’s life, confidence, and lifestyle.

What skincare philosophy do you stand by?
Home care is the most important ele ment if you had to choose between that and in-office treatments. And SPF is the pinnacle.
What is your signature treatment?
My signature treatment is my Metamorphosis Facial! It combines ele- ments from my favorite result-focused facial treatments with energy healing to create the most beautiful and restor- ative experience leaving you glowing from the inside out.
What brands do you use and why?
I currently use Cosmedix, Skinbetter, and Tox Josh Skin. I only use and work with brands that have clinically proven to perform and provide industry com- petitive results. Each of these lines have done this and consistently remain at the top of the pack for results provided. I’m fact and result-based when it comes to selecting the products and brands I work with.
What are three skincare ingredi- ents you can’t live without?
Kojic Acid, Retinol, and Zinc Oxide
What is your specialty? What is your favorite skin type to treat?
My specialty is definitely giving life back to lackluster or aging skin. I also spe- cialize in brows. My favorite skin con- cern to treat is currently pigmentation because I absolutely love documenting the lightning process.
What are your favorite tools to use in the treatment room and why?
My dermaplane blade because it makes almost every facial better, the Eclipse Microneedling Pen because it pro- vides the smoothest microneedling experience I’ve yet to experience, the Skinwave for extractions, plumping, and lymphatic drainage, the Celluma for LED therapy, and the Cool Peel la- ser because of the amazing results I see with that machine. This isn’t even all of my favorites – it’s too hard to pick!!
