Located in Middle Village of Queens, NY, Opulence Glamour Skin Clinic is a luxury spa & boutique that offers innovative facial and body treatments, hair removal, body sugaring, and teeth whitening. It is a woman-owned business with a team of experienced cosmetologists in the aesthetic and beauty industries. Through exceptional customer service, the clinic’s skilled estheticians help clients develop a transformative skincare routine that includes innovative facials and beauty treatments, and a consistent home regimen.

Not only that, but the skin clinic offers “customized and honest recommendations which allow our clients to have full faith in us,” says Spa Owner Edyta Maselbas. The spa was originally launched in Brooklyn in 2019 and has now opened in Queens this year, 2021.

Signature Treatment

The HydraLux Facial (60 min, $189, $90 min, $289) is the spa’s signature treatment. This treatment gently and effectively exfoliates dry, dead skin cells while infusing targeted hydro serums in the skin. Deep cleansing, rejuvenation, radiant, and smooth skin are obtained through the peeling process. “Oxygen infusion is the splendid final touch of this treatment. The client’s skin will be immensely hydrated and restored,” says Maselbas.

Lymphatic drainage is also included for a more lifted appearance. Clients do have the option to add other advanced modalities to their treatment, such as Needle-Free Mesotherapy, Radiofrequency, Microcurrent, LED, and more.

Marketing

Opulence Glamour Skin Clinic uses social media to inform customers about services and products. The website serves as an informative medium that contains details of each treatment and the option to book online. “We have an internal system of previous clients from my Brooklyn location. We attract new clients mostly through word of mouth. They revisit simply because of the results they see,” says Maselbas, showing the importance of exceptional service in building an excellent reputation that consistently books.

Training

Opulence Glamour Skin Clinic is unique in that the staff travels to Europe for more advanced courses to learn innovative services that are not common in the US. The spa likes to introduce new technology and techniques to its clients. “Our licensed estheticians are already highly trained before joining our team,” explains Maselbas who hires seasoned estheticians who are experienced. “Performance is checked on a weekly basis. Goals I set include client retention, satisfaction, and checking in on clients after their treatments,” she explains.

Special Events and Promotions

The luxurious spa offers monthly specials as well as Holiday deals, and also organizes free workshop events to educate customers so they can achieve better results. “We partner with March 16 Design who handcrafts beautiful organic cotton and silk face masks. We are proud to support this business as it is women-owned just like ours,” says Maselbas.

In addition to March 16 Design, the spa also partners with Sweet Bite, a local woman-owned business that bakes exclusive artisan desserts served to clients after their treatments along with wine and other beverage options from the coffee bar. Another personal touch that makes the skin clinic stand out is its seasonal window displays designed by local decorator Marta Nalewajko.

Revenue and Retail

When it comes to choosing retail products, Spa Owner Maselbas makes her decision “based on efficacy, quality, and client demand.” The Skin Clinic is a proud partner of Biologique Recherche, a world-renowned skincare line, carrying a large variety of their face, hair, and body products. Opulence also carries Circccell, Ultraluxe, Nina Avakya, EltaMD, Grande Cosmetics, and ProCell Therapies.
