What is Your Esty Yami located?
Your Esty Yami is conveniently located inside of Miracle Laser and Skincare Institute in the heart of South Miami, Florida

Can you give a little information about your background as an esthetician?
I graduated from Florida College Of Natural Health in 2018, but my education didn’t end there. I took various continuing education classes, including Acne Specialist, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Lash Lift and Tint, and Radio Frequency. After two years of working at a spa, I was quickly promoted to Lead Esthetician, where I found myself hiring and training all future estheticians for that location. Ultimately, I made the decision to work for myself, and here I am!

What inspired you to become an esthetician?

Growing up I suffered from terrible acne and had to get facials every two weeks. While the extraction process wasn’t all that enjoyable, I discovered my passion for skincare! Once people started noticing the change in my skin, my whole confidence changed and that is what I want to be able to do for others.

What beauty philosophy do you stand by?

Consistency is KEY!

What is your favorite treatment?

Definitely peels and microneedling. These work hand in hand in the sense that they can help treat various skin concerns simultaneously. Peels can help speed up cellular turnover, treat acne, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and have many anti-aging benefits. Microneedling causes a controlled damage to the skin to help completely rejuvenate the different layers of the dermis to treat acne scarring, break down hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen and elasticity.

What brands do you use and why?

Skin Script, Hale & Hush, and I just brought on Face Reality. Skin script is an amazing line for most skin types and conditions including aging, dry, dehydrated, and mild acne. Hale & Hush specializes in extremely sensitive skin. It’s my favorite for clients with rosacea and very compromised skin barriers. Face Reality is the holy grail for mild to severe acne!

What is your secret to beautiful skin?

Monthly facials and consistency with a home care regimen.

What are your favorite tools to use in the treatment room and why?

Ice globes! They keep the skin nice and refreshed after extractions.

What is your favorite part about working for your company?

The ability to come up with different and innovative ways to better my facials to give my clients the best and most relaxing experience is great. I love forming relationships with my clients and helping them build their confidence with each treatment!
