The 55,000 square-foot, two-level spa offers a full spectrum of wellness-enhancing facilities including 44 massage, facial, and body treatment rooms; cold plunges; a snow shower; a salt mist chamber; a nail salon; reboot lounge for foot and lower leg treatments; and penthouse spa for small group experiences. Highlights include:

Infrared Saunas – designed to provide a comfortable sauna experience for those sensitive to heat, the saunas’ infrared lamps focus on penetrating warmth directly onto the skin to bring heat-therapy benefits without having to crank up the thermostat.

The Aufguss Sauna – one of the largest in the United States, the Aufguss Sauna (or Event Sauna) is an avant-garde, social wellness experience that incorporates sauna, aromatherapy steam, and a theatrical presentation of towel movements choreographed with music and lights.

Salt Mist Chamber – halo-therapy, otherwise known as speleotherapy, is a salt-based therapy focused on health benefits for respiratory conditions. The Salt Mist Chamber is expertly designed with a salt brick wall and salt dispensing system that circulates micro units of misty salt into the chamber to help reduce inflammation, clear toxins, improve lung function, among other benefits.

Experience Showers – a playful way to cleanse the body, Lapis Spa’s seven different Experience Showers pair perfectly with a hydrotherapy circuit, Aufguss or infrared sauna, or Salt Mist Chamber treatment. Different showers feature body sprays, overhead bucket bliss deluge, and a simulated gentle rainstorm, each experience providing contrast water therapy.

Snow Shower – a unique, whimsical way to cool down, the Snow Shower is chilled to a frosty 14 degrees Fahrenheit while a snow machine fills the space with white, fluffy snowflakes. The perfect way to cool off after a heated treatment, the heated floor keeps toes warm while the snow melts away as it hits the ground.

Herbal Inhalation Room – integrating the age-old practice of harnessing the essence of botanicals to soothe and uplift the mind, body, and soul, the Herbal Inhalation Room utilizes essential oils to provide therapeutic, psychological, and physiological respite in a relaxing environment.

Supernova Suite – a spa within a spa concept, is perfect for small groups of six to eight. Parties will have their own personal spa butler to see them throughout the experience. The space has its own vitality pool, sauna, steam shower, treatment tables, a food and beverage area and more.

Reboot Lounge – for travelers weary from walking the Strip or a night out in heels, the Reboot Lounge offers 12 relaxation loungers where guests can enjoy a foot and lower leg treatment, including a Theragun deep-muscle massage while they sip a wellness shot and watch the nature scenes projected on three walls.

Fitness Center – a functional and performance-based environment, features Peloton bikes, Woodway treadmills, Hydrow rowers, VersaClimbers, and Echo bikes alongside traditional cardio and advanced strength equipment.

Unique to Lapis Spa, the atmosphere of the wellness escape is designed to adapt to the guests’ natural circadian rhythm and biological clock in order for them to best achieve their individual goals. Throughout the day, the neutral space is transformed through all-encompassing and immersive sensory elements from aromatherapy to lighting, starting off with a calm atmosphere in the morning and transitioning into a more vibrant energy through the afternoon.

“Whether we are talking about strength and conditioning, diet and nutrition, or recovery and regeneration – we are focused on meeting the core needs of our guests,” notes Lynn. “We’ve created a destination for user-friendly, accessible experiences that allow guests to incorporate their fitness-centric lifestyle into their stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.”
